The ERA (Executive Research Association) staged its first ever Virtual Conference on Tuesday May 12. Feedback from delegates was extremely positive and the quality of speakers and their content highly commended.
The Conference was Chaired by Mark Senior, Managing Director of Henley Research, and Co-Chair of the ERA for the last seven years. Over 80 delegates registered to attend, mostly ERA members.
The mood was positive, with speakers seeing the upturn post-Covid as a real opportunity for businesses to reset and recalibrate. Diversity & Inclusion was a recurring theme, being highlighted by keynote speaker Johnny Campbell (CEO of Social Talent), by Vanessa Raath and Balazs Paroczay, who gave great insights into “Improving your Diversity Talent Sourcing Strategy”, and by Rebecca Foden from Capita. John Rose (aka Resourceful John) provided insight into “Talent Mapping – Back to Basics”, Christian Henning spoke about the potent combination that HUMINT and OSINT can offer in Talent Intelligence, and Jack Kennedy from Indeed gave an economist’s view of how the UK Labour Market is faring as we emerge from Covid.
Members of Henley’s research team were in attendance and we are now setting about putting into practice many of the things learned at the Conference, so that we can continue to offer our clients the very best research and engagement techniques, including a results-oriented approach to D&I mapping, resourcing and insight. Please get in contact with us for an exploratory chat about our services.
