One of the services Henley Research provides is Talent Mapping, which is where we draw up a list of relevant profiles for our client to suit a current vacancy, future pipelining or talent intelligence need. In recent years, as companies look to boost gender diversity in senior positions, Henley Research has often been asked to create all-female Talent Maps, to allow our clients to identify the best female candidates for current or future leadership vacancies.

For example, one of our global pharmaceutical clients recently asked us to compile a report of female commercial leaders in 12 specified big pharma companies in 11 specified countries and regions across EMEA. We identified and presented 250 women who met these requirements, in positions such as Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager, Commercial Director and Business Unit Head, in a report highlighting the women’s current roles, professional and educational backgrounds, languages and international experience.

We presented the final report to our client last month and they were delighted with the report, which we have since heard has already been put to good use. We look forward to future collaborations with this client and other clients on similar projects going forward.
