How many countries have you been to and which one is furthest from the UK? Seven, the furthest being the USA. I’m hoping to add Slovenia and Croatia to the list later this year.
What’s the strangest food you’ve ever eaten? Probably vegan ‘hot chocolate’ – it came in a squeezy bottle and looked (and tasted) like brown paint. I’ll stick with regular cocoa, thanks.
What was your dream job when you were a child? Zookeeper, and author in my spare time. Or llama farmer.
If you could time travel where would you go? Versailles under Louis XIV – for the dresses and the parties.
Which superhero would you be and why? I’d be a Guardian of the Galaxy because I could spend my days dancing with Baby Groot.
What was the last role for which you found the successful candidate? Director Commercial Development, Generics for a Pharmaceutical company
What is the innovation you have been waiting for? Some kind of teleporter to cut out my commute would be nice!
What are your guilty pleasures? Eurovision, Young Adult fantasy fiction and true crime podcasts.
What is the biggest challenge of using LinkedIn as a researcher? It can be a challenge to get the right balance when filtering search results – you have to be specific enough to find the right people but you don’t want to be too restrictive and exclude potential candidates.
What would you do if you had an extra hour in the day? I’d like to think I’d do something productive like writing or drawing or the gym, but I’d probably end up sleeping or playing video games.
