Qualifications: BA Combined Honours History and Spanish, University of Exeter
Languages spoken: English, Spanish.
How many countries have you been to and which one is furthest from the UK? 7 (although some several times), furthest was Peru.
What’s the strangest food you’ve ever eaten? Cuttlefish, which was made even stranger by the fact that at the time I didn’t know it was cuttlefish. Also alpaca steak (which I recommend over the cuttlefish).
What was your dream job when you were a child? Fiction author.
If you could time travel where would you go? Elizabethan England, without a doubt.
Which superhero would you be and why? Wonder Woman – great name, and the best of the recent solo films.
What was the last role for which you found the successful candidate? I’m new to the industry so watch this space, I guess!
What is the innovation you have been waiting for? Somewhat unusual but an artificial pancreas would be a game-changer for me.
What are your guilty pleasures? I don’t feel bad about anything that makes me feel good.
What is the biggest challenge of using LinkedIn as a researcher? The fact that it’s often not up to date and not everyone is on it so you can miss a lot of good people if you’re over reliant on it.
What would you do if you had an extra hour in the day? Probably sleep, and having caught up on that I’d read.
