Which European country that you have not yet visited is top of your list to see, and why? Malta, Andorra and Liechtenstein. For some strange reason I like microstates, and these are the ones I haven’t visited yet.
What is your speciality dish to cook? Lentils – chuck them in a pan with any vegetables you’ve got and a bit of chorizo and let them cook for 30 minutes. Easy and delicious!
If you were to give one suggestion to the CEO of LinkedIn, what would it be? Please let us have more than 15 in-mail messages per month. I promise to use them wisely.
What is the most enjoyable book that you’ve read recently? Smarter Investing by Tim Hale. I would highly recommend it to any person that is looking to get into investing and doesn’t know where to start.
What would be your karaoke song? I really don’t like singing, so any instrumental song would do.
Who would be the guests at your dream dinner party? I would invite Jimmy Carr and Jack Whitehall. There’s no way you’d have a bad time with those two!
What do you most enjoy about working in executive search? When a candidate gets appointed by a client. It’s very rewarding knowing that you have played a small part in helping someone find their dream job.
Mountains or sea? Mountains in the winter, sea in the summer. Unfortunately we have neither of them in Birmingham!
What is your favourite film? My favourite film would be a mix between The Sting, Schindler’s List and Fargo. Not sure it would work though.
What would you rather fight – 20 duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck? It depends if I’m empty-handed or I’m allowed to use a weapon. If I have to fight the giant duck I’d rather have a sword with me, whereas I don’t think it would be too difficult to step on the duck-sized horses.
