Henley Directors Helen Davies, Diana Watson and Mark Senior hosted a webinar for one of Henley’s global multinational clients on 19 June 2019. Around 40 HR Business Partners within the market-leading technology client, based as far afield as the USA and various AsiaPac countries, logged in to the 45 minute session during which Henley explored various themes relevant to the webinar title “Talent Insights – Leveraging Data to underpin Strategic Talent Decisions”.
The Henley team underlined the importance of data – both quantitative and qualitative – and talent intelligence to inform strategies and decisions made by HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
Examples of types of projects where insights provided real added value were Diversity & Inclusion studies, Organisational Structures, Talent Availability, Geographical and Location Feasibility, as well as Remuneration and Reward.
One of the core messages was that, whilst there is a wealth of quantitative data available in the public domain, the gathering of talent intelligence through conversations with potential candidates and other relevant individuals, is often necessary to get specific and current data to underpin key decisions.
