Welcome to our two new Team Members

Our research team has two new starters in January 2023.

Catherine Osman joins from Berwick Partners (part of the Odgers Berndtson Group of companies) and brings more than eight years’ experience in Executive Research, including many searches in the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors.

Christina Karvelas has  strong commercial, analytics and research background with companies including Deutsche Bank, Bridgnorth Aluminium and Jaguar Land Rover.

We are delighted to welcome both to our team and we wish them both well in their career here at Henley.

The Global Reach of Henley Research International

The Global Reach of Henley Research International

Henley Research International

Though we are headquartered in the UK, our work continues to be international. In fact over 70% of our projects during 2022 were outside the UK.  During the year we worked on senior roles based in 25 countries, and identified potential candidates in over 100 countries globally.

Our team is also truly international in nature – a range of different nationalities and fluency in different languages.  Perhaps even more important is our understanding of different business cultures and how to interact with candidates – this is very different from country to country.

Additional Hires at No Extra Charge

Additional Hires at No Extra Charge

Henley’s commercial model differs from that of many recruitment firms and offers a high level of flexibility and value.

Most recruitment firms will invoice if and when a candidate is placed into a role. For many “contingent” recruiters a fee is charged based on a percentage of the candidate’s starting salary. For retained recruiters (search firms) there are stage payments culminating in a fee for placing the candidate.

In both these commercial models, where a search leads to more than one candidate being hired, the recruiter will invariably make an additional charge for each additional hire.

At Henley we are as transparent as we can be with our fees so that there is certainty all round. And one differentiating aspect of our commercial model is that we don’t charge any extra just because more than one candidate is hired. Our work programme is just the same, and we’re delighted, in those instances, our clients get two (or more) for the price of one.
